AMS is a long-established provider of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) in northern Germany, offering high-precision development, electronics, mechanics, and assembly from a single source. With more than 40 years of experience and a team of around 100 specialists, AMS stands for engineering excellence and reliable industrial partnerships.
In this project, we supported AMS in defining and articulating its vision, mission, value proposition, and guiding principles—forming the strategic foundation for future positioning and internal alignment. Together, we carved out the company’s unique self-understanding as a development partner and system integrator across electronics and mechanics, focusing on precision, innovation, and lifecycle value.
The result is a concise, authentic and clearly structured "AMS Guiding Principles Universe", now serving as an internal compass and external orientation aid. Vision and mission were reformulated to reflect AMS’s holistic engineering approach, while the value proposition was defined along four core dimensions: product responsibility, engineering spirit, customer partnerships, and diversity in collaboration.
The developed narrative builds the strategic groundwork for brand messaging, HR communication, and long-term customer relationships.
