ZILEX is developing a digital B2B platform that transforms how highly specialized industrial products—particularly heat exchangers—are configured, calculated, and procured. In this project, we have conducted a strategic review of the platform’s positioning, user experience, and digital messaging to evaluate its effectiveness across key touchpoints.
The analysis began by carving out and refining ZILEX’s mission, value proposition, and target audience—laying the foundation for a detailed review of the public-facing website. The UX and UI were assessed in terms of clarity, conversion logic, and consistency with ZILEX’s platform vision. Special attention was given to the onboarding journey, sales funnel alignment, and messaging hierarchy—particularly regarding the core offering: configurable heat exchanger solutions.
We identified key friction points, usability gaps, and messaging inconsistencies, and provided actionable recommendations to streamline the customer journey, lower access barriers, and strengthen platform visibility. Technical UX issues and content clarity were documented alongside design-related suggestions, including improvements to demo access, call-to-action placement, and visual storytelling.
The final report included a prioritised issue list and strategic guidance for improving conversion, onboarding, and reach—tailored to ZILEX’s dual audience: industrial customers and product suppliers.
